Virtual Vision Finance – the Highlights

Virtual Vision Finance, by Ultimate Fintech, producers of the iFXEXPO took place on June 10 2020. As media partner, the Contentworks Agency team was eager to check out this one of a kind interactive virtual expo. We were also eager to tune into the Marketing for Social Distancing: Marketing & Acquisition Tips panel at 16:00 where our Director Charlotte Day was a speaker. Here’s a roundup of our favourite bits and highlights from the expo. Read on for Virtual Vision Finance – the Highlights.

About Virtual Vision Finance

100+ exhibiting brands, 5,000+ targeted visitors, top panel discussions, interactive chat rooms, private chat for booth reps and tons of video and presentation options. All this was available to Virtual Vision Finance attendees via an easy to use platform. Attendees could visit the exhibit hall, auditorium, workshops, information desk or video vault and resources anytime they wanted.

Speaking after the expo, Ultimate Fintech Head of Marketing, Dusan Camilovic told Contentworks Agency:

“We are delighted with Virtual Vision Finance. It took an immense amount of prep time and energy to make the event happen and for that I want to say thanks to our team. The Ultimate Fintech team is the best in the finance/ fintech space, and they have excelled themselves in these challenging times.”

Dusan added

“Feedback from brokers, service providers and sponsors has been really positive. Plenty of valuable connections have been made and essential information shared.”

What We Loved

This expo was the first of its kind for the finance space and that alone is awesome. However, the Virtual Vision Finance expo managed to capture plenty of the iFXEXPO magic we missed out on during lockdown.

Scavenger Hunt – We loved the scavenger hunt which had us searching screens for clues to win prizes. Huge kudos to Plugit Apps, EccomPay, BridgerPay and EasyTech for sponsoring the prizes.

Booth Chats – It was awesome to visit virtual booths and chat to their reps. Whether it was just to say hello to a familiar face or to make a valuable business connection, the tech definitely facilitated great communication.

Great Tech – We admit we were nervous beforehand. Following weeks of poor-quality video calls and pixelated Zoom chats we wondered how the Virtual Vision Finance tech would hold up. Hold up it did with great visuals, avatars and seamless video connections to facilitate the Zoom auditorium panels.

Top Speakers – The iFXEXPO is renowned for its top-quality speaker selection so this was not a huge surprise. However, we enjoyed the relevance of the topics this year. With sessions such as Asian Markets Roundup: What’s Next?, FX Influx: Liquidity Landscape During Crisis, Marketing for Social Distancing: Marketing & Acquisition Tips and Understanding Traders: COVID19 Edition this was a relatable expo.

Virtual DJ Session – From the Virtual Lounge we were able to join a live chat open to all attendees and exhibitors, while listening to uplifting sunset beats by DJ El Gato and DJ Raif. Whilst it’s not quite the same as the dazzling parties we enjoy each year at the iFXEXPO, we loved that Virtual Vision Finance maintained its social element. Reconnecting with familiar names and faces is always a big plus for us here at Contentworks Agency and we were happy to do some virtual partying! We think Niki might still be in there looking for the virtual bathroom…

Marketing for Social Distancing: Marketing & Acquisition Tips

The marketing panel featuring our own Director Charlotte Day was of course a highlight for us. The panel touched on critical information regarding ad spend, social media for the pandemic age and new covid-19 content marketing demands. It also looked ahead to predictions for forex marketing in future months.

Panelists included:

  • Laoura Salveta (moderator) | Partner & Director of Marketing | 120Advertising
  • Marc Hiney | Head of International Finance (FX / Cryptocurrency) | AdRoll
  • Panos Lamprakos | Head of Finance & Gaming (GR, BG, CY, MT) | Google
  • Nicc Lewis | CEO & Founder | Expozive Marketing & Marcom
  • Charlotte Day | Creative Director | Contentworks Agency
  • Ilan Azbel | CEO | Autochartist

During the panel, Charlotte stated:

“Right now our brokers want actionable content that speaks to their traders. Should we trade oil when it’s low? Is bitcoin a safe-haven? Should I trade volatile NFPs? These are all questions we need to be addressing with content.”

Additionally, she reiterated that recently the main content marketing demands have been for breaking news and analysis, videos that explained the market effects of coronavirus and new marketing strategies attuned to the pandemic landscape.

She also joked that forex CEOs dancing on TikTok was set to be the next forex marketing trend. You heard it here first. A complete video of the marketing panel is now available on YouTube. Check it out and let us know your thoughts.

Contentworks Agency would like to congratulate Ultimate Fintech for a stellar event.  Thanks also go to all the sponsors, speakers and attendees who made this possible. We were pleased to connect with so many new brokers and encourage anyone we missed to get in contact with our team.
