Vision Forex Forum 2026, hosted by QUBE Events, returned this March to the Four Seasons Hotel Limassol. It brought together a senior audience of brokers, fintech providers, payment specialists and infrastructure leaders. Contentworks was once again a media partner for this high-calibre event and agency director, Niki Nikolaou created and hosted two fire-side chats. Set against the backdrop of a rapidly changing industry, this year’s forum felt more grounded in the realities facing brokers on a daily level. Conversations shifted from what might happen in FX to what brokers need to fix, build and refine to remain competitive. Join us for some Vision Forex Forum 2026 highlights.

A Forum That Reflects A Maturing Industry
There was a clear change in tone across the agenda. AI was everywhere but not in the generic, overhyped sense we’ve seen in previous years. Instead, discussions centred on implementation: how AI is being integrated into brokerage operations, how it impacts marketing credibility, and where it introduces new risks.

Alongside this, familiar pressure points remain including the rising cost of client acquisition, higher regulatory expectations, and that infrastructure needs to be faster, more transparent, and fully auditable. And perhaps most importantly, trust has become a defining competitive factor.
The Panels That Set the Tone
Some of the strongest discussions came from panels that tackled these challenges head-on, with a level of honesty that you don’t always see on conference stages.
The marketing panel, Winning Trust in the Age of AI: The New FX Marketing Playbook, brought together industry voices to explore a question many brokers are still grappling with, how to scale marketing without eroding credibility. The consensus was clear: while AI can drive efficiency, it also risks diluting authenticity if overused. In a space already challenged by scepticism, brand trust is no longer a soft metric, it directly impacts acquisition and retention.
Equally compelling was the leadership panel, Resilience & AI Readiness in Retail FX, which moved the conversation into the operational core of brokerage businesses. Speakers discussed what resilience really means in 2026. The conversation went beyond just speed and liquidity, but into organisational readiness, regulatory alignment, and the ability to respond quickly to both technological and market shocks. AI readiness, in this context, is no longer optional but is becoming a baseline expectation.

A highlight was the keynote, One Keystroke from Chaos: Reflections on 2026 Forex Risks. By Charalambos Charalambous of MDS Insurance Brokers Ltd. It was a powerful reminder of the fragility of global markets. In an industry often focused on growth and opportunity, this session brought necessary perspective highlighting how quickly disruption can occur, whether through technological failure, geopolitical tension or systemic risk. It reinforced the importance of preparation, not just performance. We liked how the presentation was overlaid with real world events making sure we all sat up to pay attention!
Hot Seats: Straight-Talking
Contentworks director, Niki, moderated two Hot Seat sessions that aimed to go beyond polished talking points and into practical, sometimes uncomfortable truths.
In The Hidden ROI of Sponsorships, with Nick Xydas, CMO of EC Markets, the discussion explored how brokers often misjudge the value of sponsorship deals. EC Markets is a sponsor of Liverpool FC. Nick spoke candidly about the trust signal the alignment with the team brought to their global audience. Too often, sponsorships are treated as standalone branding exercises, disconnected from broader marketing strategy. What became clear is that ROI doesn’t come from visibility alone, it comes from what you build around it. Without amplification into the wider funnel, even the most high-profile sponsorship will struggle to deliver meaningful returns.
In The Death of Digital Advertising, with XM’s CMO, Panos Lambros, touched on a topic that resonated with most. Digital acquisition is not disappearing but it is becoming significantly harder and more expensive. Rising CPAs, increased competition, and platform limitations are forcing brokers to rethink their approach. The discussion shifted quickly from “what’s broken” to “what’s next”. This includes stronger brand building, smarter partnerships, and a renewed focus on owned media.

The Value of Being in the Room
Beyond the stage, Vision Forex Forum 2026 continues to deliver genuine, high-quality interactions and networking. The lunch at the Four Seasons Hotel Limassol was a perfect example. In a luxury setting, with exceptional food, conversations flowed naturally into real business discussions.
The day concluded with a more relaxed dinner at Forsos, a favourite traditional tavern. It was the ideal setting to break bread (and halloumi!) and connect with peers, colleagues and partners on a more human level. These are often the moments where relationships are strengthened and future collaborations begin.
Our Take As Media Partner
Vision Forex Forum 2026 highlighted that the FX industry is entering a new phase. Success is no longer defined by isolated strengths, whether that’s technology, marketing, or liquidity. Instead, it’s about how effectively brokers can bring all of these elements together, while maintaining trust in an increasingly complex and competitive landscape.
