This online-only webinar will take place from 9.30am-1pm (CET) on Wednesday 8th April 2020 and is set to unite like-minded people from the finance services realm. The Crisis Management in Payments webinar will welcome guest speakers who will host a variety of talks around many different subject matters. Highlights include:

  • Digital Transformation in The Time of Crisis

This will zoom in on trends changing the face of payments as well as the new reality in times of crisis regarding the economy and digitalisation.

The keynote session will be led by Chris Crespo – Futurist and Digital Strategist, Former Chief Futurist at Nordea.

  • Coronavirus and the Impact on Payments

Multiple speakers will play a role in this interactive panel discussion which takes a closer look at how the payments sphere is being impacted by the ongoing pandemic. Those sharing opinions include Nick Kerigan – Future Payments Expert and Innovation Leader, ex. Managing Director, Future Payment at Barclays. Francisco Sierra – Director of European Markets at N26 – will also take part as will Chris Crespo.

  • How is the Coronavirus Impacting the Banking Ecosystem?

 The impact of corona on the banking ecosystem will be considered as well as how financial regulators are responding to the crisis.

This keynote session with an open digital floor for questions and answers will be led by Rūta Merkevičiūtė – Head of Division for E-money and Payment institution supervision at Bank of Lithuania, Co-Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Payment Services (SCPS) at European Banking Authority.
